Vehicle Description
This 2001 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 has a bit of a meaner style from
every angle. And that's an earned attitude because this is an
upgraded LS2 machine done by the professionals at Vengeance Racing.
So dig into all the details on this well-built 475 hp road
rocket.
The 4th gen Camaro has ignited a passionate enthusiast following,
and this one highlights the best of it all. It's a long-term owned
car where a pursuit of passion evolved this from a bone stock
Camaro to a blacktop-owning coupe. You'll see more of that when we
talk about the engine in a moment, but first, take time to
appreciate the upgraded power car style. The SS-style hood is more
noticeable in black, and this blackout style continues on the black
roof, deeply tinted windows, and rear panel. And the attitude
upgrade continues on the SS-style rear spoiler, distinct quad
exhaust tips, and bright Torq Thrust wheels done in a modern
17-inch size. And while you have a speedy style, the shine of the
red paint, the fit of the body panels, and the overall quality make
sure this powerful Camaro also knows how to impress when
parked.
The interior looks quite stock and shows exceptionally well for the
age and mileage. So it's another reminder of proper care of
long-term ownership. This preservation means that you can really
see the distinct cloth inserts in the upholstery and doors. This is
loaded with the right features, like cold-blowing air conditioning,
dual airbags, cruise control, power steering, a tilt column, a cup
holder center console, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo.
While this Camaro has had the same owner since 2005, it wasn't
until 2009 that he made an over $17k investment with Vengeance
Racing. It was given a 402 LS2 short block that included TrickFlow
220cc cylinder heads, TrickFlow hardened pushrods, ARP head bolts,
a Vengeance Racing VRX5 camshaft, 42 lbs injectors, and Kooks
headers. We have the full parts list, but just know it has a dyno
sheet showing 475 horsepower. The Borla muffler on the exhaust
gives you a terrific V8 tune, but when you want people to know your
power superiority, this has electronic cutouts to really bring the
thunder. And you take full control over it all thanks to the
six-speed manual transmission. They also upgraded the suspension,
including Strano lowering springs, thicker sway bars, Koni
adjustable shocks, subframe connectors, and UMI rear control arms.
You also have power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes,
upgraded SSBC slotted rotors, and a newer set of Nitto NT555
ZR-rated tires.
The sale comes complete with the Vengeance Racing full info sheets,
the dyno sheet, maintenance records, service manuals, and the
owner's manual. So if you want one of the most awesome ways to
celebrate the customization and care of the 4th gen Camaro, you
know you can't let this powerful coupe slip away. Call today!!!
