Vehicle Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle is a proper Super Sport tribute,
thanks to the well-built big block under the hood. But this full
midnight machine is also an all-around upgraded driver thanks to
features like four-wheel disc brakes, a big rear suspension
upgrade, and a comfy A/C interior.
This Chevy has been upgraded to a Super Sport with the dual power
dome hood, blackout grille, blackout rear panel, SS badging, and
wide dual exhaust tips, all sending a powerful message. And the
15-inch rally wheels have a meatier rear set to give you a terrific
stance. So while this kind of setup seems like it has to be black -
the most intimating way to distinguish it from other Chevelle with
a more pedestrian mission. There's a good gloss that comes from an
upgrade later in life, and that makes for an impressive yet
driver-ready feel. Plus, proper professional detail can likely
unlock the full shine if you so desire. More than just the right
paint presentation, there's a fundamental appeal with bright
classic bumpers, pliable weather-stripping, and doors that shut
solid. It all makes for a stand-out hardtop that was made to be
driven and looks awesome, lurking out on the streets.
The black interior continues the car's aggressive appearance. There
are nice classic details, like button-top seats and working dome
lights. But what we probably like the best is how much this wants
to be a pleasing driver. So you have classic driver-oriented
features, like front bucket seats, a center console with a
horseshoe shifter, and power steering. Upgrades like a Grant sports
steering wheel and digital gauge cluster join this. And to make
sure this is a great cruiser, you also have desirable features like
cold-blowing air conditioning and an upgraded AM/FM stereo with
Bluetooth.
The engine bay has a tidy look that was built for power. At the
center is a 396 cubic inch V8. We're told it was rebuilt about a
year ago and had a fresh look. The big block also has the right
performance components like Holley four-barrel carburetor, Weiand
intake, and long tube headers feeding into the dual exhaust and
Flowmaster mufflers. There are also quality supporting components
like MSD ignition, steel braided lines with AN fittings, and
aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The TH400 three-speed
automatic transmission feeds a 12-bolt rear end for a stout muscle
car experience. You have terrific upgrades like four-wheel power
disc brakes and a ladder bar with traction link rear
suspension.
Complete with build receipts. This is a seriously powerful SS
tribute with the right comforts to be a fun all-around driver. Call
