Vehicle Description
Dubbed the "Super Hugger", the second generation of Camaro was much
more of a "Drivers Car" than its predecessor. Built from 1971
through 1981 the second generation Camaro was an all-new car with
its basic mechanical layout like before. However, unlike before,
the chassis and suspension was refined in both performance and
comfort. Initially the brand had high performance configurations,
however because of the fuel crisis, safety concerns from the
federal government and the implementation of emissions took power
ratings tumbling. This 77 Model year is one of the cleanest and
nicest second gen Camaros I have had the pleasure of representing.
In 1977, the Z28 was reintroduced with the LM1 engine that was the
most powerful Camaro engine at that time and was only available in
the Z28 model. This car is a true time capsule that brings back all
the 70's feels. The car did have the seats re-covered but the
originals come with the car along with the build sheet and owners
manuals. This car comes out of a excellent collection of muscle
cars with excellent storage and servicing. This car leaks nothing
and does not smoke. It starts perfectly, shifts nicely, idles good
with an all around very clean interior, excellent paint and clean
underside.
