Vehicle Description
This custom 1955 Chevrolet 3100 stepside pickup with a big back
window on a custom chassis underwent a frame-off restoration. It is
powered by a built 350ci small-block V8 engine topped with a
polished 871 blower and dual carbs, backed by a Turbo 400 automatic
transmission with Hughes converter and Ford 9-inch rear end. It is
equipped with electronic ignition, serpentine pulley system,
high-torque mini-starter, polished air compressor, polished
aluminum radiator, electric fan, Hooker headers and Flowmaster
mufflers. Additional components include power steering, 4-link with
adjustable air-ride suspension, 4-wheel power disc brakes, rear
Wilwood calipers and a custom fuel tank. The exterior is finished
in red with polished stainless bed trim. Additionally, it has an
in-bed custom fuel cap, custom wheel-well bed tubs, custom brake
lights, rolled rear pan, chrome grille and chrome bumpers. It rides
on polished American Racing wheels. The custom tan leather interior
features a custom dash, chrome tilt steering column, full set of
AutoMeter gauges, custom floor pedals, AutoMeter Phantom tach and
boost gauge, in-cab air-ride controls, custom under-seat-mounted
radio and CD player, custom built-in subwoofer, custom door panels
and custom door handles.
