Absolutely stunning 1946 Packard Clipper Deluxe. I believe this is the finest 1946 Packard in existence. The champagne gold paint is in excellent condition and gleams in the sunshine. The chrome has been replated and the interior has been refurbished. The dash and window frames have been custom finished to match the exterior paint and birds eye maple wood. There are no window cracks or fogging. The front end steering has been rebuilt and new brakes have been installed.
The engine is sound and starts quickly and runs smoothly. A completely rebuilt overdrive transmission will be included with the sale, along with the parts and directions to install it. Also included witll be Packard art, service records and literature. The engine compartment and trunk are like new.
This classic Packard has lived its life in Nevada, California and Texas where it is now located. There is no rust on the body or undercarriage. It has been shown in car shows and always received a great deal of attention and compliments.
