Mechanics
Under the hood of our Falcon sits the original factory 260 cubic
inch V8 engine with its orange painted factory single-snorkel air
cleaner system and matching valve covers, performance spark plug
wire set, factory intake and carb, factory cast iron exhaust
manifolds, Power Steering, and what looks like most other factory
parts, while sitting in a clean and period correct engine
compartment.
It is backed by the 4-speed transmission and that engine and tranny
combo for this lightweight Falcon gives it plenty of power for
around town and good fuel economy too.
It has a single exhaust system and the Falcon's lightweight nature
combine to make terrific classic convertible driving experience as
it rides on stock steel wheels with wire wheel type hubcaps and
whitewalls that really dress up the Falcon.
Interior
The black vinyl split bench seat interior looks as good or better
as when it was ordered originally and it has the matching rear
seat, black carpets, the instrument panel features all the stock
gauges and stainless chrome trim, the factory steering wheel is in
great shape, the chrome 4-speed shifter on the floor, the factory
AM/FM radio is still in the dash, the door panels are beautiful,
and the trunk is nicely outfitted with a plaid mats and a
full-sized spare tire with cover.
Exterior
This Falcon has been kept in great condition and has a great triple
black look with that black paint job on it showing off the hood
scoop, stylish fenders, and is accented by the spear-like
full-length side trim, 260 V8 emblems, and the black power folding
convertible top that matches the exterior.
This very nice Falcon sits on white sidewall tires and wire wheel
covers with spinners and the exhaust makes it sound great too.
