Vehicle Description
With an awesome color combo, upgraded 350 V8 power, a comfy
interior, and driver-ready upgrades, this 1953 Buick Special
Streetrod is truly a cool cruiser.
The two-tone purple is a stylish custom color combo that will stand
out in a crowd - especially because they both have a nice metallic
that likes to pop in the sunshine. As you get closer, you take
notice of the dark purple stripes and pinstriping on top of the
light purple on the hood and truck. And we really like the stripes
that add emphasis to the curvaceous roof line for added
distinction. There are some signs of enjoyment, because after all,
this is out to be a true Saturday night cruiser. But there are a
ton of great details that really turn heads out on the streets. It
includes custom frenched tail lights, color-matched headlight
surrounds, a frenched antenna, deleted door handles, a lowered
stance, and window tint done in purple to coordinate with the
paint. Plus, the brightwork package is thoughtfully done to be
memorable. The toothy grille is a true icon, big bumpers have been
slightly modified for a smoother style, and the unique dripping
trim line in the profile is a terrific way to divide the two-tone.
This joins details like faux lake pipes and smoothie wheels on wide
whitewalls for an impressive total custom style.
When you pop the key fob remote door openers, it reveals an
Interior with the right blend of classic style and cruiser
upgrades. So you have cool vintage details like the thin/grippy
steering wheel, art deco dash, and two wide rows of bench seating.
But they also invested in the right upgrades. For example, those
seats are now finished in comfy gray velour and black piping. And
the door panels and carpeting are done to coordinate. Plus, the
Stewart Warner gauges under the dash, tach mounted on the steering
column, and floor shifter are part of an upgraded driving
experience. There's even a JVC AM/FM/cassette stereo for upgraded
driving music.
The engine bay shows off the heart of this driver-style package.
The Chevy 350 cubic inch V8 is always a good choice for hardy
power. This one even inhales deeper with a four-barrel carburetor
and an Edelbrock aluminum intake. And as a true cruiser, you'll
spot some nice supporting components, like an HEI ignition and
electric pusher fan. It has quite a nice ride, and so that
reaffirms the feeling of a custom that was made to be driven. So do
convenient features like the three-speed automatic transmission,
power steering, power brakes, and modern tires disguised as classic
whitewalls.
It's easy to see the added flair of this custom, but when you own
it, you'll also understand the added substance of a solid cruiser.
