There was a craze of sports car in the late 60's and every
manufacturer was jumping in to test their engineers ability to be
the best on the street and the track. Mercury was one of the first
and a nicer version of the Mustang with better ride and more
luxurious features.
Pleased to bring to market this stunning 1967 Mercury Cougar with a
400 small block V8 with Edelbrock carburetor, Ford Racing valve
covers, Ford air cleaner, MSD ignition, and upgraded AutoMeter
gauges. Engine was dyno tested a few years ago at 505HP at the rear
end. Car was treated to new paint during the frame up restoration.
New vinyl top was fitted very well along with new interior trim and
seat covers. Hideaway headlights work properly, horn and lights
work and the A/C is cold. Even power steering and power brakes are
fitted to give you a great drive. Upgraded 17in American Racing
wheels are installed and period correct wood steering wheel
completes the package.
You would spend a significant amount of money well over our asking
price to duplicate a car in this condition and eye candy. Jump in
an enjoy something different then the typical Mustang, Corvette or
Camaro. This is a special car that will get you noticed whenever
you go for a cruise.
