The owner of CMC decided to sell a personal vehicle out of his
private collection, this extraordinary 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
Hennessy Serial #1!
This first year production 2009 Corvette ZR1 is Serial #1 of an
estimated 24 Hennessy ZR750 Packages built!! A true performance
vehicle and blue chip investment.
It is no secret that the Corvette ZR1 represents the latest and
great technology that GM has to offer. This particular car is even
more special as it is one of the few built by Hennessy Performance
and being Serial #1.
The Hennessey ZR750 package consisted of the following:
Hennessey Performance Engineering went about and built a new
package for the all-new 2009 Corvette ZR1.
Dubbed ZR750, the new package helps liberate 755 horsepower and a
mammoth 728 pound-feet of torque from the Corvette ZR1's
supercharged 6.2-liter V-8. This results in a 0-60 mph time of just
2.8 seconds, a quarter mile ET of 10.3 seconds at 139 mph and a top
speed in excess of 224 mph. The list of modifications include a new
supercharger pulley, which increases boost from 9 to 13 psi, a new
air intake, custom cylinder heads, new camshafts, a high-flow
exhaust and a full ECU retune.
Of course, the best part is that Hennessey's modifications come
with a 3-year or 36,000 mile limited warranty.
Under the ownership of the current owner, in 2019 the car was sent
to RPM Performance to check over the engine and the modifications.
After reviewing the mods, it was decided that the head should be
further ported and refresh the valve train for safety. The list of
addition maintenance/mods include:
It was then decided to send the heads to LME Performance for
further porting. (They are one of the best head porters in the
US.)
We then sent the blower to Kong Performance and where they port
matched the blower to the head porting. Kong high performance
cooling bricks were added along with a Kong air divider. All of
this air blasts through the Nick Williams throttle body. To finish
the breathing a Kong Performance Cold Air induction system was
added. The car needed more fuel for safety, so the ID1300 injectors
were added, along with a Fores Triple Pump Fuel system. The three
fuel pumps work in progression and it is actually quite fuel
efficient when you are on the single pump. An E/85 Flex fuel sensor
was then installed so you can switch from E-85 to normal pump gas.
The benefit of the E-85 is that it cools down engine temperatures
and also cuts back on exhaust fumes. All of this breathes through a
Corsa Sport Exhaust system. The sound of this car is absolutely
glorious! The car was conservatively tuned at 887 WHP. The owner
did not want any more power as the car was not used as a race car.
The owner did however, take it to two roll racing events and it
beat every competitor it had at those events.
This car has always had car collectors as owners and is in pristine
condition. The ZR1 still retains all of its original paint! The car
has had no damage to speak of and the original paint is in
remarkable condition.
The car was also a 3ZR package which was the top of the line for
the ZR1. Some of the options include dual zone climate control,
heated seats, Navigation, Bose Stereo, memory seat, magnetic ride
control, advanced stability and traction control. Chrome Zr1
wheels, Michelin tires.
The car comes with a second set of wheels. These are BC Forged
Custom bronze concave wheels. The fronts are the original 19" size
along with new Michelin tires on them. The rears are 18x12 in the
rear and they are mounted on MT Street R Drag Radials. This tire
set up has not even been down a drag strip yet!
This car also has numerous upgrades. The car has a high end
PASSPORT radar detector with front and rear lasers. This system
works very well. The car also has a KENWOOD Apple CarPlay, XM
Satellite, sound system. The car has a JL Audio amp with hidden JL
Audio subwoofers and focal audio component speakers. This complete
stereo is hidden behind the original panels and looks stock. The
system also has front view and rear parking cameras. I am sure I am
missing something, but you get the idea. This car comes with a lot
of extras.
This car is documented with the original owners manual, service
manuals, color dealers brochure, service records, RPM performance
receipts, and dyno sheets.
