This FORD is all steel with a recent professional exterior refinish as of 4 years ago in classic straight Black. The car was originally built 15 years ago by the previous owner and avid classic car enthusiast/builder, she has remained meticulously cared for during the last 6 years in current ownership. She is built to run with enjoyable long-haul cruising if desired, drivetrain includes a sweet running 1965 Chevy V8 283Ci (2 Barrel) mated to a 1950 Floor shifted Ford F-100 transmission through to a 1957 Ford 9-inch Rear. The car runs cool in hot weather and includes a 16in electric fan (in addition to the engine driven fan) and a 1951 radiator that was re/cored for optimal coolant flow. Build notables include electric fuel pump, electric wipers, Vintage heat and air conditioning, electronic ignition, new 12v battery, back up camera with dash display monitor, cruise control, electronic speedometer and a new spare tire. The original build also upgraded the dash to a 1946 FORD which includes an original (non-functioning) AM radio and driver/passenger side spotlights (non-functioning). This 41 is an excellent cruiser with vintage style Radial Tires, original solid axle front/leaf suspension, rear leaf suspension and drum brakes all around. Interior also includes an actual functioning fold up seat back in true Business Coupe tradition. This car certainly has the class of the 40's covered, she is ready to comfortably cruise locally or long distance with many more miles to go. The car shows extremely well for its age, the only disclosure notables are exterior finish bubbles to the black paint only on the air vent door on top of the cowl, and the manual transmission has some minor leaks which the owner is including a transmission seal kit with the sale.
