Vehicle Description
This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Wagon carries all the iconic lines of
its much more common (and expensive) coupe brothers. And it was
also upgraded with all the right pieces to be a truly fun driver,
including an enhanced V8, four-on-the-floor, and cold-blowing
A/C.
This is a cherry red '57 Bel Air with genuine wire wheels... so you
know the first impression is awesome. And the wagon style is just
because you know you're going to want to share it with as many
people as possible. You get great iconic pieces like the
full-length trim with tailfin fan insert, the V8's gold badging,
and the exclusive 1957 front end that unites the bumper and grille
into one chrome king set up. But you can also see this one goes for
a more modern appeal with features like the bow tie dual exhaust
tips, deeply tinted windows, California-style single-piece rear
bumper, and shaved rear door handles. It's a true classic cruiser
style, and so we're glad to see the full package is clean and
complete, but it's purposely the kind of presentation that won't
make you afraid to hit the road.
The interior has an inviting style that's great for a wagon. The
seats are an updated version of the classic 1957 style, and the
door panels were done to match. Plus, the full interior has a cool
red and black style. The bright trim, vintage steering wheel, and
details like the stoplight peeper are cool classic touches, but
this one also likes to feel like a useful cruiser. You have nice
upgrades like keyless entry/alarm, power locks, seatbelts, and an
AM/FM/CD stereo. This even has cold-blowing air conditioning for
better road trips. In fact, the upgraded floor shifter and
column-mounted tach make sure you'll love driving this one. And
that big cargo area is perfect for tailgating or just swallowing
another vintage project.
The Tri-Five Chevys launched the legendary small block, but this
327 cubic-inch V8 is larger than anything they offered. It has also
been enhanced with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, a high-rise
intake, and Flowmaster mufflers on the dual exhaust. And you have
complete control over this V8 and its soundtrack thanks to the
four-speed manual transmission. Add in rack & pinion power
steering, power brakes, front discs, and the modern touring tires,
and you soon realize this is a fine-driving wagon.
Complete with the owner's manual, this is a true icon made to be a
true cruiser. So if you love a cool grocery-getter, this iconic and
fun '57 Chevy is ready for you. Call today!!!
