Vehicle Description
This 1979 Ford Bronco Custom 4x4 has all the best features in one
classic SUV. So you have vintage details, like the removable
hardtop, distinct interior, and rare two-year body style. These are
joined by nice upgrades like a Bluetooth stereo for a better
cruiser experience.
The paint is a respray of the factory-correct Midnight Blue
Metallic and Wimbledon White. It's impressive and glossy without
looking too fancy for you to hesitate to venture off onto your own
path. So it's a terrific way to properly represent a classic that
also likes to be useful. And its stylish versatility is the overall
theme here. The distinct grille, chrome bumpers, polished dual
exhaust tips, and full-length trim separating the two-tone are all
about delivering a clean vintage style. Plus, you have attractive
handy features like the side steps, Pacer wheels, and a full-size
spare on a swing-away mount. And we especially like the removable
hardtop. It coordinates in white, but it's also Rhino Lined to be
extra rugged.
The interior is a nice mix of vintage and new. We like the classic
details, including the bright wood-like trim on the dash, working
interior lights, and multi-tone cloth insets in the seats. There
are nice comfort features like a cup holder center console,
provisions for air conditioning (it will need servicing,) and an
AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth. And a smooth operation to the power
rear window makes it even easier to enjoy this with the hardtop
off.
While the previous generation Bronco's power was limited to Ford's
302 V8, the second-gen means proper 400 cubic inches of power. It
even now has nice upgrades like a Holley four-barrel carburetor and
an aluminum radiator. It warms up to be a string runner, and it has
a great V8 sound from the dual exhaust. A two-speed 4x4 transfer
case, beefy axles, Rancho shocks, and deep tread on the new Nexen
Roadian tires mean this powerful classic can still take you deep
into the wilderness. But it has features like a three-speed
automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs,
and newer front bushings to make it also a fine choice for
in-town.
We love these second-gen Broncos for their style, usefulness, and
rarity. And this one seems to maximize it all. Call today!!!
