1979 Ford F-150 Ranger is a Styleside pickup that is finished in
Wimbledon White over Red Ranger upholstery! This truck is powered
by a rebuilt 400ci V8 linked to a rebuilt four-speed manual
transmission and a dual-range transfer case! 15"" Rims are wrapped
in a new set of 33X12 BF Goodrich Radial TA. The truck is equipped
with manually locking front hubs, and braking is handled by
power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The brake calipers and
hoses have been replaced! Power is sent to the rear or all four
wheels through a dual-range transfer case paired to 3.50:1
differentials. Paint and bright work are in exceptional shape on
this North Carolina truck!
The 400ci V8 was rebuilt with .030? overbore as well as .010? over
rods and main caps. New pistons, Moly piston rings, Clevite
bearings, and a 204/214 specification camshaft. An Edelbrock
aluminum intake manifold is topped with a Holley 600cfm four-barrel
carburetor. Additional items that were replaced at the time of the
overhaul included replacing the lifters, timing chain, oil pump,
freeze plugs, spark plugs, valve guides, water pump, and fuel pump.
This trucks ready to cruise! This driving experience is exactly
what you'd expect from a well maintained truck.
