Fusion Motor Company proudly presents this 2018 Dodge Challenger
SRT Demon finished in a stunning TorRed Tri-Coat paintwork, along
with leather and Alcantara upholstery. With Dodge's SRT Group being
dissolved, the glory of the Supercharged V8 is coming to an end and
further cementing the collectability of the Demon.
The 6.2-liter Hemi V8 features an IHI twin-screw supercharger and
was factory rated for 808 horsepower and 717 lb-ft of torque on
premium fuel or up to 840 horsepower and 770 lb-ft on 100-octane
fuel when enabled by the race-tuned ECU included in the Demon
Crate. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed
automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The SRT
Power Chiller system reroutes the car's air-conditioning
refrigerant to cool the supercharger's heat exchangers.
The aerodynamic design and widebody stance of the Challenger Demon
not only look sleek, but also help provide optimal performance on
the road. Exterior details give the car an aggressive look that is
sure to turn heads. These include an Air-Grabber hood, widebody
fender flares, Demon badging, Air-Catcher headlights, dual exhaust
outlets, and a front and rear spoiler with an integrated backup
camera. The front splitter retains its yellow protective strip.
Black-finished 18? aluminum wheels are wrapped in 315/40
Demon-branded Nitto NT05R drag radial tires. Braking is handled by
slotted rotors paired with red-finished Brembo calipers at each
corner. The Demon is equipped with an active damping suspension as
well as Drag Mode and Launch Assist, which alter the engine
management profiles and activate the transbrake and line lock
functions.
The cabin houses heated and ventilated front seats in addition to
an optional 60/40 split-folding rear seat trimmed in black Laguna
leather with perforated Alcantara inserts and white stitching.
Amenities include a power-adjustable driver's seat, dual-zone
automatic climate control, SRT-branded floor mats, an 18-speaker
Harman Kardon sound system with a trunk-mounted subwoofer, and an
8.4" Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system with navigation,
Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
A heated and multifunction steering wheel is equipped with shift
paddles and mounted to a power-adjustable column. Instrumentation
includes a configurable digital display flanked by a 7k-rpm
tachometer and a 200-mph speedometer. The digital odometer
indicates 913 miles.
This SRT Demon is completed with a Demon Crate, manufacturer's
literature, extra brake and accelerator pedals, a Mopar battery
maintainer, and a clean Carfax report!

About the Demon:
The SRT Demon is a more powerful wide-body version of the
Challenger. It debuted during the New York Auto Show in April
2017.
The Demon uses an all-new 6.2-liter V8 engine equipped with a
2.7-liter supercharger, which puts out 808HP with 91 octane
gasoline and 840HP with 100 octane fuel or higher. Torque stands at
770 lbft on 100 octane fuel. The car weighs 215 lbs less than the
Hellcat at 4,254 lbs. The car will be using a set of road tires by
Nitto Tire, called the NT05R. This makes the Challenger SRT Demon
the first production car to contain a set of drag radial road
tires.
The SRT Demon contains a system that is used specifically for drag
racing called transbrake, which is a mechanism that puts the
transmission in 1st gear and the reverse gear simultaneously,
holding the Demon stationary. This is used along with the car's
torque converter to build up hydraulic pressure before launch.
The power-to-weight ratio of the SRT Demon is 435HP per ton on 100
octane or higher.
It reaches 0-30 mph in 1.0 second, 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds, 0-100
mph in 5.1 seconds, a top speed of 208 mph, and the quarter mile in
only 9.65 seconds at 140.09 mph. This makes the Demon the fastest
non-electric production car to reach 0-60 mph and to complete a
straight-line quarter mile at its time of announcement. The SRT
Demon is also capable of accelerating at 1.8 G's of force at
launch, making this the hardest launching production car ever. With
this extreme power and hard acceleration, the SRT Demon is the
first production car to ever perform a wheelie.
Only 3,312 SRT Demons were produced! Out of those, only 631 were
produced in TorRed!
