Vehicle Description
The 1962 International Scout 80 is a classic and iconic vehicle
that represents the rugged spirit of early American off-roading. As
the first generation of the Scout series produced by International
Harvester, the Scout 80 holds a special place in automotive
history. With its distinctive boxy shape and utilitarian design, it
remains a beloved choice among vintage SUV enthusiasts.
This incredible Scout 80 was highly restored in the late 90's with
a ton of new and OEM parts installed or replaced. This Scout was
sold new in Nevada and remained there till 1996 when the owner
spent the next 3+ years restoring the vehicle. We have a very large
file of receipts and documentation of the process along with some
pictures. Comes with the very spirited 152ci 4cyl with the 3spd
manual transmission. Vehicle is a joy to drive and gets plenty of
attention where every you take it. Finished in a great blue/white
combo and recently refinished front and rear seats. Front seatbelts
are mounted along with working AM/FM stereo and all lights seem to
be working properly. Gauges are functional and both fuel tanks are
hooked up. Upgraded 15in painted wheels are mounted on some new
31in BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires. Horn, lights, radio, gauges,
and blinkers are working.
Vehicle comes with sun visors installed, huge file of receipts and
documentation, clean MI title and Line Setting Ticket from IHC. Get
