Vehicle Description
This 1968 Ford F-100 Custom Cab is a full custom build with a mean
blackout look, sleek style, comfy bucket seat interior, and a nice
big V8 heart. It all makes for a high-quality package on a
head-turning street machine pickup.
Black is a terrific color to instantly make this truck look
aggressive. And thanks to a proper investment, the full package has
a deep gloss that gives out great shine when the sunlight hits this
classic. And the straight body panels and clear headlights show
overall attention to quality. They upped the aggressive factor with
matte black treatment on the bumpers, door handles, grille, and
badging trim. And we like the way the matte black full-length trim
utilizes a red pinstriping package for added definition. Those
20-inch American Racing wheels go well with the color theme, but
they also join the lowered suspension and low-profile tires for an
upgraded sporty stance. And as you look deeper into the bed, you'll
see a tough black liner paint so you can still do real truck
duty.
The interior continues the feeling of thoughtfully placed upgrades.
You'll first notice the TMI bucket seats with matching center
console and cup holders. These seats have cool details, including
the suede-like inserts and the red stitching to match the red
exterior accent. There are more comfort features, like an AM/FM
stereo with Bluetooth and provisions for air conditioning (it will
require servicing to blow cold again.) Plus, the wood-rimmed sports
steering wheel, clear updated gauge cluster, tach mounted on the
steering column, and tall Lokar shifter makes for a terrific
driver's machine.
The engine bay has the clean look of stout power, and that's
because the restoration gave it a 390 cubic-inch V8. It has been
built with an impressive Edelbrock suite that includes the
four-barrel carburetor, intake, anodized valve covers, and aluminum
heads. And the long tube headers exhale with a sweet rumble into
the dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. The full package is tuned
to be a proper cruiser, and while we bet you know how to unleash
the full beast if you like, there's already something quite
appealing here. The full setup includes an electric choke, an HEI
distributor, and an aluminum radiator with dual cooling fans. So it
has the right features to be an all-day cruiser. Plus, it feels
good on the road thanks to power steering, power brakes, front
discs, and a three-speed automatic transmission.
This is the distinct pickup that's also an awesome all-around
classic. So if you want it all, call today!
