This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette convertible has proper V8 power,
four-on-the-floor, a cool color combo, and a quality presentation
inside and out. There are even nice extras, like the hardtop. So
when you're looking for a Stingray that loves to turn heads and
loves to be driven, you know this drop-top is checking all your
wish list boxes.
A classic convertible in red is always desirable. This is an
upgrade in later years, and that means a nice gloss and modern
shine that makes the sunshine-friendly drop-top look terrific when
you're out cruising on a sunny Sunday. Even on the days that you
cannot be open to the world, you have a choice of how to button up
this car fully with either the white convertible top or the black
hardtop. Clean glass, good rubber, and bright chrome bumpers are
all part of this car's fundamental appeal. It's the kind of overall
fit and finish that has you looking for new destinations just
because it's so fun to get there, and every time you get out, you
get the tingle of knowing all eyes are on you.
One of the big reasons for owning a classic convertible is to be
open to the world. So we're glad to see the black interior. The
bucket seats, door panels, and dash have a deep/dark appearance
that tells you they made the right investments. There are even nice
touches like the red carpeting that breaks up the darkness and
coordinates with the exterior. The three-spoke sports steering
wheel, full auxiliary gauge package, and large speedo and tach are
all part of a great driver's package. So while this has an upgraded
AM/FM stereo, we really know it's that shifter in the middle that
controls your real favorite soundtrack.
The engine is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. It has some
nice flair with the bright valve covers and matching air topper.
And while the block is original, you can also understand it has
been under the right care over the years but the way it fires up
eagerly and idles smoothly. Plus, that baffled dual exhaust is a
cool race-like feature that gives this classic V8 an awesome
soundtrack. And you're in full control of the power and tune thanks
to the four-speed manual transmission. Plus, you have a fully
independent suspension, four-wheel power disc brakes, and wide BF
Goodrich tires to deliver one of the best 1960s classic power car
driving experiences around.
This Stingray convertible has the right features, the right
distinction, and a terrific tune. So you just know you can't let
this shining red drop-top slip away, call today!
