The 2006 Hummer H2 SUT (Sport Utility Truck) is a rugged and
imposing vehicle that exudes power, capability, and boldness. As a
member of the Hummer lineup, it inherits the brand's iconic design
language, characterized by its commanding presence on and off the
road.
This example here is nothing short of impressive. "Athena" is her
name - Goddess of War- and is appropriately named so. The owner
just recently spent over $28,000 on the engine and transmission
getting them completely rebuilt it. The engine has right around 800
horsepower and comes with dyno sheets. The Super Charger was also
rebuilt and has a receipt reflecting $13,000 that was just spent.
The paint job was $14,000 and shows incredibly well. There is less
than 1,000 miles on the rebuild. The truck runs on E85.
Introduced in 2002, the Hummer H2 was a follow-up to the iconic H1
of US military fame. While the H1 was a little more than a painted
version of the military HUMVEE, the H2 was based on a combination
of HD frames from GM trucks. It offered significantly more
refinement but still the same rough-and-tumble look that customers
demanded. The H2 SUT's suspension system is specially designed to
handle rough terrains, ensuring a comfortable ride even in
challenging conditions.
