This 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250 SL “Pagoda” Roadster is a remarkable example of an early W113 model. Produced for only a single model year, 1967, the 250SL was replaced with the more common 280SL, making this model one of the rarest and most desirable in its class.
The incredible 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL Roadster featured here is finished in stunning Silver Metallic over Black with a matching Black convertible top. This extremely rare and sought-after factory five-speed manual model is among one of the most coveted of all the Mercedes convertibles. In over 40 years of collecting, I have owned more Mercedes-Benz Pagoda Roadster than any other individual and this is the first factory 5-speed example I’ve ever come across.
While this 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250 SL “Pagoda” Roadster looks good from a distance, it represents the perfect example to either undergo a full, show-quality restoration or be simply driven as-is. As such, a close inspection reveals the chips, cracks and typical imperfections present on virtually every unrestored, fifty-year-old vehicle. This 250SL’s mostly original interior shows excellent patina and is a fabulous place to enjoy a relaxing drive. We are proud to offer this 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250 SL “Pagoda” Roadster to the most sophisticated collector, investor, or enthusiast who understands and appreciates the rarity of this factory-equipped five-speed 250SL.
