Stunning triple black 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 convertible. This is a real Super Sport documented by the cowl tag paint code 72 Hugger Orange which was only available when ordered on the SS models and the numbers matching 12-bolt posit-traction rear end and the heavy duty Turbo 400 engine.
According to people who knew the history of this Super Sport Chevelle convertible, this was
born a rare L78 396/375 horse powered car, casting T0603KF, date June 2, 1969, unfortunately
the engine is no longer available. The car is now powered by a detailed and strong running 402/396 c.i. big block replacement engine, TH400 automatic transmission, and correct 12-bolt posit-traction rear end . Equipped with power steering, power front disc brakes, and upgraded to an aluminum radiator for heavy duty cooling. The suspension is heavy duty F41 with boxed control arms and front and rear sway bars. The SS hood and grill, brilliant chrome, and stainless trim, and new convertible top all add to this Super Sports great looks. The black bench seat interior is sharp and also has factory tach and gauges, new carpet, SS steering wheel, and Retro sound. This American Dream Machine is rolling on restored SS wheels with new chrome center caps, new chrome trim rings and new white letter BFGs for timeless good looks.
