your eyes to be blessed by this two-tone green machine!
Mopar power is some of our favorite muscle and this 1977 Dodge D100
Shortbed Restomod further reinforces that! With the bump of the
key, bring to life this 408 stroker born from a 360 block. The
engine has had a full overhaul with forged pistons sitting atop
H-beam rods that give this Dodge a 10.5:1 compression ratio. The
heads have been fitted with 1.6 roller rockers and a Mopar Purple
Shaft 284 hydraulic cam. Air is pulled in from an Edelbrock RPM Air
Gap intake while gas is being supplied through a Demon 750
carburetor with an annular discharge. Spark that gas and air with
fresh E3 spark plugs, MSD Pro Billet distributor, and MSD Super
Conductor 8.5mm wires, Mopar ignition control box, and this Mopar
is sure to breathe. Bringing the power to the pavement is a Tremec
TKO 600 w/OD 5-speed that connects to a 4.10 ratio Dana 60 through
Moser axles. Better yet? All of this is felt through the pistol
grip shifter inside the cab for a throwback to the Cuda and
Challenger days!
Completed in a, wait.... factory Volkswagen color of Java Green
Metallic and a black with subtle brown undertones, and separated by
a flowing silver pinstripe, the two tone exterior of this beauty is
sure to break necks. New Torque Thrust 8" rear wheels are wrapped
by none other than Mickey Thompson 275/60/R15 SS ET Street tires.
An Extang bed cover gives the assurance that the new Optima battery
that has been relocated to the bed will stay dry in any
weather.
Rowing through the gears through the Pistol grip isn't the only
thing this Dodge has going for it on the interior. Factory A/C
keeps you and your rider cool on the upcoming hot summer days.
Power steering and power brakes compliment the ride to give the
comfort that we're used to. The green from the exterior wraps
inside to continue giving a well-formed appeal.
Other notable specs of this D100 is an Allstar driveshaft loop,
March Aluminum pulleys, adjustable fuel line w/gauge, 26" radiator
w/7 blade clutch fan, Series 44 Flowmasters, Competition
Engineering Slide-a-Link traction bars, patriot coated headers,
shop and owners manual, Powermaster high torque mini starter, and a
fresh Royal Purple oil change, and a whole binder of documentation
to come with the sale!
Kept in a climate controlled garage, this truck has been well
maintained and is ready for the next owner to do the same!
