Vehicle Description
This completely restored 1973 Volvo P1800 ES Sport Wagon was done
professionally in Canada and in Sweden. During its overhaul, the
mechanical and functional components received significant
attention. The driveline was shipped back to Sweden for complete
factory refurbishing. Brakes, exhaust system, suspension, fuel
system and driveline components were detailed, replaced, overhauled
or refurbished as required. This car is equipped with a fresh
factory rebuilt electronic fuel-injected 2.0-liter 4-cylinder
engine that has been refinished and detailed. The engine is coupled
to a manual 4-speed transmission with electric overdrive and a new
clutch. The exhaust components are new, and the floors are strong
and refinished. Both rocker panels are the originals and have been
properly restored. The windshield and roof panel in excellent
condition with a new headliner and excellent drip rail moldings.
The heated rear window is in very nice shape. The new exterior is
finished in orange and presents nicely. The dash panel and
instrument areas, as well as the steering wheel and column, present
nicely. Door trim pads have been replaced, along with the quarter
inner trim pads. The front and rear seat covers have been replaced.
The headliner is very nice. All of the stainless-steel side and
crown moldings are either new or restored. There are very few marks
anywhere on the cars exterior trim or paintwork. These cars were
highly rust-prone and very few remain in restorable condition. No
expense was spared on the restoration costs.
