Vehicle Description
Anything looks better when it's dressed in black. Such is the case
with this stunning 1964 Ford Galaxie 500, which is an original 390
V8 & 4-speed car just like the ones Ford used to dominate NASCAR in
the 60s! Powered by a correct, massive "Z-code" 390 C.I. V8
breathing fire through a 4-barrel carburetor, this big '64 Galaxie
is deceptively quick. Torque gets put to the pavement through a
4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter, not only making
this car more engaging, but also making it a lot of fun. The
exterior black paint is simply gorgeous, reflecting like a mirror
after being buffed to a brilliant shine and pairing nicely to the
shiny chrome brightwork. The floors, frame, trunk and jambs on this
'64 Galaxie all present well and are in great shape! Opening the
doors reveals a beautiful red over white vinyl interior, complete
with adjustable bench seats which are perfect for long-distance
cruising. This '64 Ford also comes with some options, which include
factory gauges, a heater + defroster, vent windows, AutoGauge
aftermarket underdash gauges, an original AM pushbutton radio,
seatbelts, and a mean-sounding dual exhaust system. Adding to this
car's sleek look are some muscular Cooper Cobra RWL tires over
chrome / black 15" American Racing Magnum 500 wheels, which make
this Galaxie look like one mean machine. It runs and drives down
the road like a dream, and those dual exhausts make it sound
fantastic while doing so. It won't last long on our showroom floor,
so don't let it pass you by!
