As many know, the government contract to produce Jeeps was won by Willys, but was assisted by Ford to ramp up production numbers. The result of this is the Ford GPW Jeep. What is special about the Jeep that we offer for sale here is the fact that it was built in 1944, during the Second World War. It comes from an enthusiast who has always maintained the classic well. There are therefore numerous invoices for the maintenance that has been carried out. It is powered by a 2199cc, 4-cylinder engine mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. The car is also equipped with four-wheel drive.
As you can see in the photos, the soft top of the Jeep has the text 'Caution, this vehicle is left hand drive'. This warning was specially affixed to US military vehicles to warn local English traffic. It is these small details that completely match the Jeep.
