The Jeep is as American as apple pie and baseball. They were the
first mass-produced "civilian Jeep" on the planet, and this 1948
Willys Jeep we have here at Skyway Classics is a great restoration
of what it was like back right after WWII.
This Jeep still retains the metal body with a lot of parts that has
been restored, cleaned, or replaced in the last few years.

Mechanics
We believe it has the original 134 cubic inch L4 engine which is
backed by a 3-speed manual transmission commonly referred to as the
legendary "go-devil" engine. It has the black stock factory air
cleaner assembly, original cast iron exhaust manifolds, carb, and
look mostly stock like it came out of the factory.
It runs and performs wonderfully and would be a dream for the
collector or enthusiast to have one this original.
Interior
The interior looks fresh with its white high-back bucket seats,
body painted dash with all the Sunpro gauges, switches, and
controls, black floor shifter and 4WD shifter, black steering
wheel, black flooring, and a black roll bar.
Exterior
Our 1948 Willys Jeep has Yellow paint over the body and interior
panels with black bumpers, a tow hitch on the rear, flat fenders,
large headlights and a seven slot grille, a trademark which can
still be seen on Jeeps today, side steps, and rides on black
5-spoke steel wheels and black sidewall off road type tires.
All of the features on this Jeep has the rugged simplicity and
timeless design that still appeals to collectors and enthusiasts
across the globe to this day.
