This Cobra looks like it was built yesterday. It is very detailed
in and out, top to bottom. Only 923 miles since built! Very
tastefully done too It looks great in bright red with the Shelby
style wheels. It looks like an original. It is a genuine and highly
desirable Factory Five, their serial number tag is on the
firewall.
EXTERIOR: The body looks great, no damage. It's the 427 version
with the fat fenders. The bright red paint looks slick. It has
optional bumpers front and back, wing windows, tinted visors,
bullet mirrors and the pop-up gas cap. It's a proper looking chrome
roll bar. The wheels keep it looking authentic and are wearing BFG
tires.
INTERIOR: Very neat and clean. It's fully upholstered: seats, door
panels, dash and behind the seats. The carpet was neatly installed.
It has a matched set of VDO gauges. Genuine Moto Lita Shelby style
steering wheel. It also has a modern stereo and 2 speakers. Correct
style shifter.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a crate performance 302 motor. It has a
hot cam, aluminum intake, polished Holley carb, electronic
ignition, and headers. Dressed up with Cobra air cleaner and valve
covers. It also has chrome alternator, fuel pump, pulleys, bracket,
overflow bottle and plug wire holders. It does run cool with an
aluminum radiator and big electric fan. Every part is neatly
installed. This is a very proper and tidy compartment.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is finished better than most. Under the trunk
lid is painted red with an upholstered insert. Inside is carpeted
very neatly. It has a trunk prop mechanism as opposed to just a
rod.
UNDERSIDE: You could eat off the bottom of this car. It is new and
glossy looking. The big tube frame is painted gloss black, the
floors are aluminum. Every component looks fresh. It has disc
brakes in front, all the lines, hoses, and e-brake assembly.
Looking up at the motor everything is fresh, it has a high torque
starter. A 5-speed transmission hooks to a new drive shaft. In back
is a Mustang 8.8 rear end with a chrome cover. Up front is
independent suspension with tubular upper control arms, coilover
shocks, rack and pinion steering. In back is a four link with
dampeners. Custom fuel tank. It's all new.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and repaired the turn signals,
correctly programmed the speedometer, and repaired right rear
taillight.
CONCLUSION: These are exhilarating cars! The wind, the roar, the go
cart like handling and sling shot like acceleration, this is one of
the nicest I've seen, especially for the money. It's very
tastefully, meticulously, and authentically done. Good job!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year
membership.
