Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 24th year in the
classic and muscle car business. The Chevrolet Suburban is a series
of automobiles produced by GM since 1935, making it the
longest-used automotive nameplate in the world. The Suburban
started out as one of the first metal-bodied station wagons and is
widely regarded as the ancestor of modern full-size SUV's. As one
of the most profitable vehicles sold by GM, it comes as no surprise
that the Suburban is still going strong in its 12th (!) generation.
This sweet 1959 Chevrolet Suburban is a cool example of an earlier
model of this prolific people mover. Beneath the deeply sculpted
hood is Chevy's ubiquitous 350 V8 crate engine that's sporting a
Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold,
HEI, twin electric fans, and a period Cadillac air cleaner.
Additional features include power steering, power front disc
brakes, power windows, power seats, air conditioning, TH400
automatic transmission, a tilt steering column, custom leather
interior, a powerful audio system with Kenwood speakers and a Rhino
bass box, stainless steel fuel tank, and huge low profile tires
(245/40ZR20 F, 275/35ZR20 R) on U.S. Mags 20 alloy wheels. We are
currently replacing the grille, front bumper, and light bezels with
the correct chrome pieces which are included in the price and we'll
have new photos soon. This mild restomod retains its classic
styling while delivering far superior safety, comfort, and
performance. One more killer cruiser from the team that can make
your dream a reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full
service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery,
insurance, and financing options.
