1971 Pontiac Ventura Sprint, Pontiacs response to the Rounded body Chevy Nova's. It's name was derived from Ventura, California, joining other similarly named classics such as the Pontiac Catalina, & the Chevrolet Malibu. In 1971 the new X-body entries, the Ventura II and Sprint. The Ventura Sprint option package was offered on two-door models 1971 to 1975, floor shift automatics, body color door mirrors, custom carpeting, blackout-grille & blackout-trim, special striping. Features a rebuilt 350 Cubic Inch Small Block V8 Engine, nice dress kit tall "Edelbrock" ribbed Aluminum valve covers. Chrome air cleaner. Mid performance camshaft creates great torque through the rpm spectrum, without rapping out to quickly. Engine connects to rear wheels via a 3-speed automatic transmission. All Black vinyl upholstery, Strato bucket seats, Console floor shifter w gauges. Custom Sport steering wheel. New paint based on Golden Rod 51. Classic black striping. Great lines, gaps and fit. Very nice original trunk pans and 1/4 panels. 14" x 6 Pontiac Rally ll wheels with new raised white-letter tires. Looks, runs and handles great. Ready to cruise or for the local car shows.
