If you're not familiar with Firehawks, they are performance built
Firebird Formulas by SLP (Street Legal Performance.) SLP took
Firebird Formulas from Pontiac and added a lightweight RTM
composite hood with functional cold air induction, high flow
filter, 17x9" aluminum alloy wheels, 275/40ZR17 Firestone Firehawk
tires, Mobil 1 engine and rear axle lubricant, Sport exhaust,
Firehawk floor mats, and an interior commemorative plaque with
Build Number. This was a $7,193 package on top of the Firebirds
price of $23,507. Giving us a $30,700 car in 1995!
This car is loaded with options like leather upholstery, power
lumber, tilt, AM/FM/Cassette, power steering, power brakes, A/C,
rear spoiler, sport mirrors, limited slip differential, 4-wheel
power disc brakes with anti-lock, pass key anti-theft system,
halogen headlamps, E-Z Kool solar control glass, fold down rear
seat, power windows, power locks, remote mirrors, cruise control,
rear window defogger, and a 3.23 gear ratio. This car received new
correct tires 3 years ago, with only a few hundred miles driven
since.
With 315 horsepower VS the Formulas 275, this Firehawk will go 0-60
in 4.9 seconds and 13.5 in the quarter mile at 103.5 MPH. With a
top speed of 160 MPH, it isn't for those afraid to go fast! The
1995 Firehawk "An Irresistible Force That Moves You" was the
slogan, and we couldn't agree more! Low mileage, stock collector
