It is rare to find one of these dealer optioned 4x4 1 ton vintage vans, maximum capacity of 15 passengers.
This particular van has great potential to keep a lot of it original, with so many of the original parts still remaining and salvageable or can be used as a template. The natural patina of the van is a keeper for many people, but if you would like to restore it then there is still plenty of steal to make it happen.
This van is special in the sense that it was ordered from the dealer to have four-wheel drive, which the dealer would then send the van to Pathfinder in California to perform the modification. The vans that were ordered with four-wheel drive were tagged with emblems that say "Van Charger".
