This 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback Bullitt re-creation is freshly
restored. It began its life as a real '68 fastback, as documented
on its Marti Report. In homage to the Steve McQueen Bullitt
classic, it was restored to accurately replicate the original movie
car details. The driveline consists of an upgraded Ford FE 390ci
big-block V8 engine mated to a Toploader 4-speed manual
transmission and a 8-inch rear end. The entire restoration process
was photo-documented, and the album is included with the car. It
was professionally finished in Bullitt-correct Highland Green paint
and all the exterior trim is either new or refurbished. It is
equipped with Wilwood front disc brakes. The interior has been
completely restored and is factory-correct. It has a Hurst 4-speed
shifter, deluxe wood-grain interior, correct 3-spoke steering wheel
with Shelby Cobra center cap and an added Bluetooth stereo system.
This Bullitt re-creation was painstakingly restored to correctly
replicate the unique nuances of both Bullitt cars used in the
movie. The signal light and side-marker bezels are painted in body
color, the exterior antenna and passenger-side mirror have been
removed, it has the dual-exhaust rear tips, the rear tail panel is
blacked out, it has rear back-up light delete, the rear gas cap is
blacked out, and the fender and grille emblems have been removed.
It rides on brand-new Torq Thrust-style wheels and tires. The
engine compartment is highly detailed, down to the decals and
smallest details. In addition, it comes with a professionally
assembled Bullitt/Steve McQueen movie wall display poster with
Steve McQueen and Robert Vaughn signatures.
