This custom 1986 AM General Hummer Alpha is powered by a 2016 6.6-liter 550hp V8 Duramax Diesel LML engine mated to an Allison 5-speed automatic transmission with a variable turbocharger. It is equipped with power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. The restoration was completed in 2020. The vehicle was stripped down, sandblasted and powder-coated in a Jewel Blue wrinkle finish. In addition, the frame and suspension were powder-coated in a Copper tint, while the suspension components were powder-coated in gray chrome. The vehicle was reassembled using Grade 8 bolts, while the entire body is armored in CNC-cut aluminum. The interior features Glowshift electronic gauges that are programmable to change color, Black Alpha Braum Racing seats with 5-point harnesses and a powder-coated Jewel Blue interior console. The exterior has H1X insignias and one-off designs on the hood and doors and sits on Maxxis 40-inch tires with TR beadlock wheels powder-coated in Jewel Blue and gray chrome with Copper tint accents.
