Vehicle Description
At 70 years old, this factory-spec 1953 Buick Skylark is a
limited-production variant of the Buick Roadmaster. The Skylark was
at the top of the Buick range and was offered exclusively as a
convertible. This was the American-built, ultra-modern sports car
of the time. This example of one of 1,690 built. It is powered by a
322ci OHV Fireball V8 engine, which was available in 1953 and 1954.
This engine is mated to an automatic transmission. This vehicle
boasts a Cream paint job with a two-tone white and red interior,
along with a black convertible top. It is equipped with whitewall
tires on all four corners. This vehicle was specially built for Dr.
T.A. Miller, which is shown on the factory steering wheel.
