1927 Ford Model T This Hotrod is an original 1927 Ford vehicle and
of course title. The engine is 400 cubic inch Chevy small block.
Now this motor is built as a high torque motor with 10 to 1
compression. It starts nicely and idles well. The transmission is a
GM Turbo 400 along with a GM 12- bolt rear axle. Because the
T-Bucket is a very light weight vehicle it has a manual steering
box and manual brakes which are drum brakes on all four wheels. I
just recently installed a special aluminum water pump and removed
the radiator and built a aluminum cover to mount the electric fan
on so that it runs very cool when driving around town or on the
highway. Speaking of highway I would tell you that the sweet speed
it runs is 70 mph. As far as I am aware there is nothing that is
not functioning as designed and I am not aware of anything that
needs to be fixed. After selling my dealership I had 17 classic
vehicles but based on my age I have sold many of them.
Unfortunately I haven't driven the T-Bucket much more that 10-12
times a year. But whenever I drove it compared to all my other
vehicles I always received that most attention from others. Now I
have not had the canvas top installed on my T-Bucket for probably 6
years. But I have the topper and all of the hardware to install it.
This Hotrods stays in my heated and air conditioned Hotrod Garage
with a custom floor. So I can tell you that it does not use any oil
and does not leak anything. It has a switch to unlock the battery.
