The 1976 Chevrolet Corvette was one of the purest forms of the C3 line, but it never got the big power from the factory that its earlier siblings did. Not only does this one rectify that with a well-built 400ci V8, but also you get terrific features - everything from an overdrive transmission to air conditioning.

The '76 car hits the sweet spot for many C3 Stingray fans. It's one of the few years that combines the right styling elements. It's a well-done performance build with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Mickey Thompson finned valve covers, and wrapped headers feeding the dual exhaust. This even has the right supporting components, like an HEI distributor and an aluminum radiator with electric fans. The 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission is a nice upgrade for an ideal pairing because it offers both a stout construction and smooth overdrive comfort. Power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and the C3's fully independent sports suspension complete this solid driving total package.
