The Jeep CJ-5 was a great setup for the adventure seeker as the
short wheelbase and narrow tracks gave you the ability to get just
about anywhere. Still sporty though with the 258ci inline 6 and
capable 4spd manual transmission with 4x4. These have a long
history and finding nice ones are getting more difficult as many of
them rusted away.
The Jeep offered here has a brand new soft top ( still in the box)
with soft doors and rides on white steel wheels with P255/70R15
tires mounted up. The Jeep fires right up and handles well. The
Jeep has recently had some engine work including, machined head,
valve job, new head gasket, new exhaust manifold gaskets, new fuel
pump, thermostat, starter, and alternator.
Drive this Jeep with pride and the ability to get to any two track
you desire or enter into the local parade. Either way you will have
a fun time cruising in style and plenty of thumbs up from the
jealous bystanders. It's a Jeep Thing for a reason.
