PRICE REDUCED!! Eastern Shore Classic Cars is excited to present a
very special car for your consideration. It is a 1929 Studebaker GL
Series Dictator. The Dictator series was produced by Studebaker
from 1927 thru 1937. As they made refinements the Model
designations changed, often without regard to a "model year." In
1929 Studebaker introduced the "New and Finer" Dictator Six at a
lower price. This headline greeted buyers in June of 1929. The
longer, lower, more contoured body design, which appeared earlier
on the higher priced Commander and President was now incorporated
into the Dictator models. The GL Dictator was referred to by the
factory as a 1929-1930 model. Here are some of the important
features of the "New and Finer" Dictator GL: 115'' wheelbase;
improved and refined Dictator motor which for two years already
held all speed and endurance records for stock cars under $1300;
hydraulic shock absorbers front and rear; fore-shackled front
springs; thin grip, steel core, safety steering wheel; fully
adjustable front seats and steering wheel; genuine mohair
upholstery; amplified action four-wheel brakes; double drop frame

bodies over hardwood foundation; all exterior brightwork in
chromium. The car we have for sale is a 1929 Studebaker GL
Dictator, body style Q-3. It is a 4-passenger rumble seat coupe.

to the "mother-in-law" over the rear window. It shows normal signs
