SELL****** This stunning 1930 Ford Model A Roadster is a result of
exceptional dedication to build only the best traditional roadster,
with a focus on foremost workmanship, quality components, beauty,
performance and drivability. Literally, thousands of hours of
forethought in design, then taking the ideas and producing the
finished products that combine to result in a 1930 Model A that can
be considered as an exemplary example of Automotive Art. The
resulting A.M.B.R. Outstanding Undercarriage Award is testimony to
the focus to create the best chassis and ride quality,
incorporating hundreds of innovative ideas and techniques that most
are not seen without detailed focus. Built by Warren Boughn and
Precision Hot Rods in Northridge, California. A custom Ford
P.S.R.M. chassis that was reshaped to mirror the shape of the
Brookville steel body was then fitted and modified extensively with
one-off ideas and custom components. Chassis highlights include:
Glistening mirror finish by Dan Hansen of Dan-Go Speedway
Engineering "Super Max" Halibrand quick-change rear end with
coil-over shocks. Dropped front axle with hair pin radius rods
Kick-up in the frame for the rear end to install a triangle 4-bar
set up Model A front x-member with custom P.S.R.M. headlight stands
Frame horns have been shortened and a tube x-member welded in
1-5/8" roll bar tubing for x-members Brake pedal assembly is
mounted to the x-member instead of the usual frame rail mounting
for more room to run the 2 1/4" exhaust with Magna Flow mufflers
front to back, running in perfect parallel mirror image to the
frame rails Headlight mounts are also the upper shock mounts
Exhaust follows the contour of the frame rails. It is almost a
perfect mirror image side to side Custom fabricated 14-gallon S.S.
fuel tank 1" Dual master cylinder 7" power booster is frame mounted
under the seat Speedway Motors "Super Max" Quick Change rear-end
with the S.S. suspension links & shocks All wiring and fluid lines
are concealed within the chassis Frame has been fully molded,
painted & rubbed out by Dan Hansen in Chatsworth CA Classic stance
is finished with vintage Halibrand Sprints wheels All chassis bolts
and nuts are "clocked", duplication position to each The roadster
is powered by a Dave Gunther built 383ci Chevy small block fed by
dual Edelbrock carbs. The SBC 383 Scat Engine highlights are:
