LT4 Pro-Touring Restomod and all of our other inventory!
No Reserve Classics is proud to present to you our 1971 Pontiac
Firebird Trans-Am Supercharged LT4 Pro-Touring Restomod!
The Firebird was offered in four models: the Standard, Esprit,
Formula, and the Trans-Am. Arguably, the most desirable trim is the
Trans-Am as it offers the ultimate performance and handling
package. The 455 HO V8 with 4 barrel carburetor was the largest and
most powerful engine ever offered during the 1970's and produced
over 335HP and 480 lb ft of torque - and that was standard from
factory! This Trans-Am was highly optioned with the M22 Rockcrusher
4 Speed Manual Transmission, Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with
Speakers, Center Console, Seat Belts, Chrome Wheel Trims, Tilt
Steering Wheel, Power Windows, and Custom Trim.
There were less than 2,200 of these Trans-Ams produced in 1971, and
only 885 of them were built with the 455 HO V8 Engine and M22 4
Speed Manual Transmission combo. Imagine how many are left today!
Any Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am collector would be able to appreciate
this piece of automotive history. The original window sticker,
build sheet, and invoice is also included in the sale. Now, this
real deal, highly optioned Trans Am became the perfect centerpiece
to evolve this into this fully restored Pro-Touring monster we see
today!
The exterior of this Firebird is pristine and beautiful as is with
its iconic shape and smooth bodylines. It is finished in Metallic
Silver Paint, Trans Am regalia, and one of the most iconic
"Screaming Chicken" logo sporting the across the hood. You also
notice paint matched front and rear bumpers, Shaker Hood teasing
the powerplant within, Restomod Split LED Headlights, Blacked Out
Front Grille, Custom 19" Rushforth Billet Aluminum Wheels wrapped
in Nitto NT555 G2 High Performance Tires. Past the brushed and
clear wheels, upgraded bigger brakes with drilled and slotted
rotors peak through. Getting low to the rear you'll be able to see
the 345mm wide rear tires inside the mini tubbed rear, chrome
exhaust tips, custom black tail pan, LED tail lights, and Trans Am
rear spoiler. A fine example of a build that pays close attention
to detail and quality all while paying homage to its American
roots.
Underneath the hood we have the massive GM Performance 650HP+
Supercharged LT4 Crate Engine paired up to a Tremec TKX 5 Speed
Manual Transmission. This Trans Am is also equipped with RST Street
Twin Clutch with a Hydraulic Clutch Master Cylinder, Vintage Air
Conditioning, Aluminum Radiator with Dual Electric Fans. The inner
fenders have been painted satin black and the firewalls are paint
matched, the air intake has been custom routed to work in unison
with the shaker hood and all the piping was heat wrapped tightly.
Other key items are the Black Serpentine Kit, Power Brake Booster
with CPP Brake Proportioning Valves, CPP Power Steering Box, Jeff's
Hot Rod Shop Valve Covers, Custom Black Fitted Filler Panel and MR
Headers! All put together, you have a beautiful engine compartment
that is the perfect blend of all the show and all the go!
Stepping on the interior, you will notice everything is custom but
still retains that vintage Trans-Am feeling behind it. We are
greeted with a Fully Custom Upholstered Leather Interior which
includes the adjustable front bucket seats, matching rear seats,
door cards, headliner, and even the center console that houses the
5 speed manual, power window switches, and storage. The factory
style steering wheel houses the adjustable tilt column, and beyond
those you'll notice the fully functioning Dakota Digital Gauges. To
the right, Vintage Air Conditioning and Heating controls can be
found as well as the Retrosound Radio with Bluetooth Connectivity.
Strap yourself in with the G Force Racing Seat Belt Harnesses, as
this beauty is ready to carve some canyon roads or driven down to
your local cruise night!
Looking underneath the car, it is as solid, stout, and beautiful as
can be. A great foundation for a Pro-Touring car that was built to
be driven. Key components are the Front Viking Coilovers paired
with the tubular upper and lower control arms, welded and notched
frame connectors, an upgraded front sway bar, and rear Koni shocks
with leaf springs. Giving the toy car look is all due to the fully
custom, mandrel bent, stainless steel exhaust system made by Pypes
with their matching mufflers as well as the stainless steel
aluminum gas tank. Helping put power to the pavement is all due to
the Denny's aluminum driveshaft and the Built Moser Engineering 12
Bolt Rear End.
As always, if you're an extremely interested buyer and are not
quite yet convinced about the condition of our vehicle, we not only
welcome inspections but we encourage them! Please feel free to set
up an appointment with any credible inspector and we'll be more
than happy to put this car up on a lift for a thorough
comprehensive inspection!
There's a lot to be said about this car, and we're certain that
this 1971 Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am Supercharged LT4 Pro-Touring
Restomod will continue to be a highly sought-after classic car.
Please note that this vehicle is a completely rebuilt and modified
restoration known as a "Restomod/Pro-Touring." None of the factory
components remain in the car, so we cannot verify its original born
components. As a result, this car may have certain badges and/or
trim packages that it was not originally equipped with. Many of
these cars are recreations and only have certain trim packages,
rather than being factory born as SS, RS, or Mach 1 models. If you
are interested in an original factory collector car, please check
out our original hobby segment section on the site.
