1957 Porsche 356A 1600 Speedster is finished in Black with a Red
interior and a Black cloth top. The Porsche Kardex confirms
numbers-matching engine and the Speedster is in excellent
mechanical condition with a rebuilt braking system, strong 1600cc
engine, and smooth shifting 4-speed transmission with new tires,
and the suspension and undercarriage have been completely
detailed.
Its glistening black exterior is complemented by 15" tires and
silver-painted wheels, chrome baby moon hubcaps, Speedster script
on the front fenders, teardrop taillights, shine-down license plate
light, and side body molding. The 342 digits stamped on the rear
deck lid and front hood indicate the original panels.
This Speedster's spartan interior features freshly upholstered new
interior including reupholstered Speedster seats, dash, door tops,
and panels, a new black soft top, new black boot cover, German
square-weave oatmeal carpeting with black rubber floor mats, a
wood-trimmed steering wheel, and VDO gauges.
A 1.6-L air-cooled, flat-four engine drives power to the rear
wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission (Type 644) with a
four-wheel drum braking system.
The sale of this classic 1957 Porsche Speedster, located in
