Vehicle Description
This 1962 Chevrolet Corvair Van was purchased new by Larry Watson;
the original California pink slip has his name on it. Larry was a
legendary custom painter and pinstriper who opened his first shop
in 1957. He even did multiple paint jobs for Georg Barris of Barris
Kustoms. Larry used the van primarily at his shop and kept it until
1996. This Corvair has a highly detailed engine compartment which
houses the original 6 cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission.
Additional features include all original sheet metal, 15"
centerline aluminum wheels and custom tweed interior. Finished in
custom orange paint with hand-painted pinstriping this beauty runs
and drives great and gets lots of attention.
