After a five year hiatus Ford reintroduced the Thunderbird as a
throw back or retro model, modeling it after the original two-seat
design of the 1950's. This would be Fords eleventh generation of
the Thunderbird and it lasted for a three year run until 2005. The
power plant that was used was Ford's smooth yet powerful 3.9 Liter
V8 that produced about 250 HP.
The 2003 Ford Thunderbird offered here has been in the hands of the
same owner since 2005. It is finished in Raven Black over charcoal
leather interior with red inserts and accents. The car was treated
to a cold air intake and tune by nationally renown Paul's
Performance, of Jackson, MI. The car is said to make 320hp.
Today at 41,766 miles since new, the car remains in very good
condition inside and out. It is a spirited driver that encapsules
the allure of the original 2 seater T-birds with the performance
and confidence of a modern driver. The car features a perfect
CARFAX, it is turn key and ready to please.
