For Sale: 1938 Diamond T Pickup in POPLAR BLUFF, Missouri

Vehicle Description

This custom 1938 Diamond T Rat Rod named "Long Haul" is a full custom hauler built by Weaver Customs from a 1938 Diamond T pickup, a British military favorite used in North Africa for transporting tanks and known for its strength and reliability. This custom pickup is nearly 30 feet long and features nearly 80 years of natural patina, along with patina copper accents by Ogden Chrome, a hand-fabricated triangulated 4-link rear end, full custom chassis and decking, all sitting on a RideTech air-ride system. It is powered by a powerhouse 650hp single-turbo P-pumped 24-valve Cummins diesel engine with an ATS single turbocharger mated to a new-built 48RE automatic transmission with a full manual valve body and a billet lockup converter. The truck was meticulously built, with custom buckets created to house the LED headlights, and various bits of copper-dipped trim were splashed around, including a full copper-dipped stack exhaust system. A custom steel rear bumper was built and added to the hauler, and classic Cadillac taillights were frenched-in.

It was chosen for the Top 25 for SEMA Battle of the Builders in 2016 and was featured on the Velocity Channel's "Battle of the Builders" in 2017. This pickup also received a featured car spotlight on Speedhunters.com in November 2017.
