There is no Volkswagen that is more collectible, or more
fun-in-the-sun than the classic Bug convertible. This 1974 VW Super
Beetle has been partially restored and carefully pampered. It was
professionally resprayed VW Senegal Red, but for the most part,
this VW is an original survivor. The paint job was very well done
and along with the new manual black convertible top the exterior is
outstanding. Factory VW steel wheels (painted black) sport center
hubcaps and nice 165Rx15 radials and the original black vinyl
interior has been very well maintained, but is in need of a rear
seat bottom section. The 1600cc engine runs well and has been
recently fitted with a new alternator and fuel pump. (We do not
know if it has ever been rebuilt.) It provides smooth power to the
4-speed manual transaxle and brakes are manual 4-wheel drum. The
front suspension has been rebuilt. This very collectible Volkswagen
classic has been well preserved and is now in need of a new
caretaker - why not you? ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS"
