For Sale: 1965 Triumph Bonneville in Henderson, Nevada
This bike was originally built in 1974 and then redone by the same
owner in 1980. In recent years, after sitting for many, the engine
was rebuilt and punched out to 700cc. New Makunis bearings, heads
rebuilt and a new clutch installed. This bike has had the same
owner for 47 years!
It has a GME goose neck frame extended 6 inches and raked 15
degrees. This is a hardtail Santee 6 inches over and the
mid-section was modified and the triple trees are stock and
chromed. Handlebars are made from a pair of drag bars and pull
backs. Battery eliminator, single Harley coil and new electronic
ignition.
The pipes are factory TT and the chromed oil tank is a one off
creation, mounted blind, as is the Mustang 2.5 gal gas tank. The
sissy bar is solid stainless and the rear fender is a 4 inch flat.
The front end is 8 inch over glide, internal springs, new seals and
an 18 inch wheel with stock brake and new Coker Classic tire and
tube. Rear wheel and tire from Hallcraft Wheels with new Pirelli
tire and tube.
Yellow paint was pin stiped by Lenny, the owner of So. Cal. Speed
Shop in Las Vegas in about 1980 and it is signed by him.
