Vehicle Description
1977 Dodge W150 - 318ci V8 - Automatic Transmission - 4x4 - Black
Exterior - Black Interior - 33k Miles Shown TMU Compared to trucks
that are rolling out of assembly plants today, this Dodge is a
simple truck, but it has the classic charm, and simplicity that
many on the hunt for a classic truck desire. Being a '77 model year
vehicle, this truck is part of the third generation of full size
Dodge pickup, which were fixtures on dealership lots for nearly 30
years. Slight changes throughout those years gave the trucks
options, and styling that allowed them to compete with other trucks
offered at the time. Put simply, this is a truck that ticks many
boxes for those looking for a classic truck to use often. A V8
under the hood, 4 wheel drive, a simple color, a usable bed, and
knobby tires wrapped around some shiny aftermarket wheels are a few
great highlights. It's a good looking truck and is ready for
whatever you throw at it. The truck you see here is a 1977 Dodge
W150 Adventurer pickup finished in black over a black and gray
interior, and currently showing approximately 33,467 miles on the
mechanical odometer. The body was repainted at some point, though
the body panels line up as they should. Trim and badging is
present, though they also show a bit of age here and there. As we
mentioned earlier, a set of chrome wheels wrapped in all terrain
tires help to dress up the exterior and set this truck apart from
the rest. The bed features no bedliner, and taking that into
consideration, the bed doesn't look too shabby. There are a few
dents and dings, but for the age of the truck, it's in good
condition. The simple interior features a bench seat wrapped in a
two-tone seat cover, Pioneer stereo components, tachometer,
voltmeter, and coolant temp gauges, woodgrain trim, and that huge
glove compartment door, which feels as if you're moving the whole
top of the dashboard when opening it. From the drover's seat you
get a clear view of what's around you thanks to the large
greenhouse of glass and small cab. If you're looking at our
pictures closely, specifically the transfer case selector knob, you
may notice that the transfer case had 5 possible settings. As you
can see on the selector lever, the options are: Low Loc, Low,
Neutral, High, and High Loc. The loc options locked the center
differential, and provided equal power to the front and rear axles.
The power going through the axles is provided by a 318ci V8 engine,
mated to an automatic transmission. The underside of the truck has
been cleaned up a bit and sprayed with some black paint, and it
looks like the engine has been freshly painted to clean up the
engine bay a bit. Compared to the trucks rolling out of truck
factories today, this is a simple truck that has that classic feel.
With a V8, 4 wheel drive, all terrain tires, and a good sized bed,
this is a truck that is one to consider if you're looking for a
classic truck to bomb around town in, and do some hauling here and
there. Please call if interested or e-mail with specific questions.
