This 2000 Ford Excursion Limited is a beautiful vehicle!! This is a
really clean rig that came out of Oregon and it has the Limited
trim so it is loaded with options. This Excursion is a lot nicer
than most that we come across. The body on this Excursion is super
clean and straight. The paint appears to be original and the colors
are Autumn Chestnut and Arizona Beige. The paint still looks
excellent!! The original chrome and trim is really nice and the
underside is also very very clean. We found no rust issues with
this vehicle.
The interior is also really nice on this Excursion. Everything
looks to be stock and original and the leather seats are still soft
and in great condition. The headlights, taillights, brakelights,
and turn signals are all working. The power windows and locks are
working and the rear power vent windows are working. The front has
power and heated seats which are working. It has tilt wheel and
working cruise control. The horn and windshield wipers work and the
heat and AC are also working. A really clean and nice interior.
Mechanically this truck is excellent!! It starts easy and runs and
drives down the road really nice. The 6.8L V10 engine runs strong
and smooth with no issues or red flags that we could find. The
transmission is the 4R100 that shifts nice and it is mated to the
Electronic Shift Borg Warner transfer case. The rear axle is the
Ford 10.25 with 3.73 gears and the front axle is the Dana 50 with
3.73 gears. This is all sitting on a nice set of American Racing
Wheels with Falken Tires size 265/70/17.
