CMC is pleased to have this incredible 1965 Corvette Restomod Coupe
in our showroom. Powered by the GM HP LS3 6.2 Litre 525HP and
riding on a SRIII custom Coil over Chassis, this Corvette is truly
one of kind.
This no expense spared frame off build resulted in one the nicest
C2 Corvettes in the country. Countless hours spent on make sure
this car was the best of both world, Looks and Performance.
The foundation of the build started with a SRIII Motorsports custom
chassis utilizing QA1 adjustable coil over suspension in front and
rear. The engine is a GM High Performance LS3 6.2 Litre V8
producing 525HP and producing a lovely rumble from the side exit
chambered exhaust. The transmission is the Tremec 6 Speed HD manual
transmission. All of this power is feed to the ground via the Dana
44 411 Positraction rear end. The is a very strong driveline and
the sound is amazing. In 6th gear the car is still cruising at a
very low RPM. The car was built with many upgrades such as PST
carbon fiber half shafts in the rear. All of this power is stopped
by the huge Baer 6-Piston Calibers and the Wilwood Brake
System.
The restoration also started with a damage free original body. The
body lines and gaps are remarkable. The Lyndale Blue exterior paint
is beautifully applied. The original bumpers were chrome plated.
The original stainless moldings were polished. All new glass was
installed in the car. The power windows have new high speed
electric motors.
Moving into the interior, it is a full custom Black Alcantara and
Leather interior with light blue stitching. The door panels were
custom build to match the seats. New loop carpets were installed
throughout. The gauges are the gorgeous Autometer Classic Stainless
steel collection. The steering column is the Ididit Custom tilt
steering column. The steering wheel was replaced with a Billet
Specialties custom aluminum wheel. The dash has a custom molded
center section that is painted the exterior color. The Kenwood
Apple Carplay stereo has been installed in the dash. The car also
has Corvette Stingray custom floor mats.
The incredible part of the build is how well the car drives. The
SRIII chassis is very strong and rides very wheel with no creaks.
The car handles very well and stops immediately. This car truly
feels like you are driving a built late model Z06, but only
better.
The wheels were custom made Schotts Fuel Cover loc Spinner wheels.
The sizes are 18x9 in front and 19x12 in the rear. With this
incredible chassis, the car was able to receive a 325/35/19 tire in
the rear! The look of this tire from the rear is absolutely
stunning. The tires are custom made Diamondback EVO Redline
tires.
