This 1979 Ford F250 is a highly optioned truck with the Ranger,
Lariat, and Trailer Special Packages. This is an awesome truck that
spent its life in Montana and is in excellent original condition.
We would consider this truck a true survivor and it has about every
factory option you could get at that time. This truck has a great
look and great colors from the factory. This is a 2 Owner truck and
it it was clearly well cared for. The body on this F250 is all
original and extremely nice and clean. The Dark Jade Metallic and
Light Jade paint appears to be all original and still looks really
nice. This truck has all of the extra moldings and trim and it is
all in excellent original condition. The underside is also original
and clean. We found no rust issues with this truck.
The Deluxe Interior is rare to see on this truck and it is in
wonderful original condition. The seat was reupholstered and the
carpet replaced because of wear. The door panels and headliner are
original and really nice. The dash pad has always been covered so
it is near perfect. The stereo was replaced with an aftermarket
Vintage stereo that works. The headlights, taillights, brakelights,
and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. The cruise,
heat, horn, wipers, and AC all work. It is an awesome Deluxe
Interior.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and this truck runs and drives
wonderful. The engine is the original 7.5L 460 V8 that runs strong
with no issues or red flags that we could find. It has the factory
HD cooling system which keeps things running cool. They added a
Holley 4 Barrel Carb with an electric choke. The engine has a newer
timing chain, timing cover, water pump, and distributor. This truck
also has dual batteries and Flowmaster exhaust. Other recent work
includes a new steering box and power steering pump.
The transmission is the C6 Automatic that shifts nice. The rear
axle is a Dana 60 with 3.54 gears. This is all sitting on a newer
set of Aluminum Wheels with 265/75/16 All terrain Tires.
