Vehicle Description
Cruisin Classics is proud to present to you today this awesome 1969
Chevrolet Nova! This Chevy is dressed in a stunning silver metallic
paint job that glistens in the light. A like-new black vinyl top
and black pin-striping provide a nice accent along with a fair
share of gleaming brightwork. The hood sports chrome faux air vents
and both fenders have bright simulated air extractor/vents below
the Nova script. The black grill features a white SS emblem at its
center and the front bumper has integrated turn signals. Chrome
rocker trim flows down both sides and continues from the rear tire
to the back of the car. Bright wheel lip molding, window trim, 350
call-outs on the fenders, and vinyl top trim really add to the
whole look. The sides of the car are nice and straight and the gaps
are even with good panel fitment. The rear of the car features
another white SS logo above the chrome rear bumper as well as a
"Nova by Chevrolet" badge (specific to 1969). This Nova sits
proudly atop chrome Crager SS 5-spoke wheels wrapped in Mickey
Thompson Sportsman tires. Under the hood is a very clean,
gloss-black painted engine bay housing a 350ci V-8 Goodwrench crate
motor dressed in Chevy orange. The 350 is topped with an Edelbrock
Performer intake, an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, and a chrome
air filter. Power flows to the rear through a Muncie 4-speed manual
transmission to a 10 bolt rear end. Other highlights under the hood
include finned Chevy valve covers with cross-flag logo, newer
looking headers and exhaust, power steering, power brakes
(disc/drum), and an Optima battery. You'll definitely want to leave
your hood open at car shows to let everyone check this out! When
you open the drivers door you're greeted by a very nice black
interior lit by a working dome light. Door panels are OEM correct
with Nova badges and white accent stripes. The black vinyl bucket
seats are quite comfortable and in very good condition, as is the
rear seat. A tight black vinyl headliner covers the ceiling where
you'll also find shoulder restraint belts and sun-visors. The black
dashpad is crack-free and the painted lower section looks good. In
the dash are climate controls for the working fan and heater as
well as an AM radio (inop.). There is a small FM converter radio
under the dash, but it too is inop.. The driver is treated to an
OEM SS steering wheel with working horn. On the column are 3 Sun
gauges - tachometer, temp, and oil pressure - all of which work. On
the floor you'll see the shift console with gauges and a Hurst
shifter rising from it with a white shift ball. The fuel and
battery gauges work, but you'll need to use the column gauges for
oil and temp as these are inop.. The shifter has a line-lock button
affixed to it and there is a red indicator light beside the FM
converter that lets you know it's on. Finishing off the interior is
nice black carpet - kept nice with vinyl Chevy floormats. Around
back you'll find an exceptionally clean splatter-painted trunk with
vinyl mat, full spare, and a factory jack. We see a lot of cool
cars here at Cruisin Classics but it isn't very often that we get a
69 Nova, let alone one as cool as this one! This Chevy is ready for
anything - cruise-in's, car shows, ice cream runs, date nights, or
even the track - all it needs is a new owner!
